On December 1, 1997 a wonderful mother, sister and friend by the name of Mrs. Eleanor Lousie Martin, had just begun her yearly custom of preparing her home for the Christmas season. As she stood in her window, inside her home, taking down her curtains to be washed, two menaces to society drove by her home and sprayed it with bullets from a Chinese assault rifle. After committing the heinous crime. The driver was bold enough to circle the block & come back to survey the damage. Unfortunately, she was shot and died immediately. Her children who were in the back portion of the home heard the shots and came running to her rescue but she was already deceased. They had to experience this terrible tragedy and called for help. These two guys were sentenced to life in prison. The driver of the vehicle is coming up for parole. This petition is a plea to keep him in prison to serve his life sentence for the senseless crime that he was convicted of. We are looking for change in that if a convicted killer is sentenced to life then they should be made to serve the entire term of life. Your signature has the power to make this happen. If we win, a convicted murderer will not be walking the streets, threaten the safety of our families and loved ones. If we lose, this will be another person that society has to fear.
