Repeal the Maximum Hair Length rule in Saint Tammany Parish

In St.Tammany Parish, Louisiana the school board has a rule that states that a male student cannot have hair at or below his collar. There is no similar rule for female students.

The enforcement of said rule not only wastes students' time by taking them to the office to write them a dress code slip, it doesn't improve the learning environment. There also is no set method to detect if a student is in violation of the rule other than by eye, which is inaccurate and slow.

As a student at Fontainebleau High School i have been written up three times in two years for my hair touching my collar. Not only has it not, made my education better, its actively worked to make it worse by taking me out of class to give me the 'lecture" about the rules.
