This dress code implies that the girls at our school can be seen as sexual objects because of a choice of clothing. The fact that we can get in trouble and kicked out of class just because of a small rip or skin that is "not supposed to be shown as a matter of decency" is absolutely unbelievable. What's more distracting? My knees? Or interrupting my class time and keeping me from learning for half the day because of them?

Punishing children for changing their hair color is a violation of their civil liberties. The ACLU has defended students against this type of nonsense in the past. https://www.aclu.org/news/va-middle-school-student-blue-hair-allowed-return-class-after-aclu-intervention

The policy against dyed hair violates students' civil liberties. The ACLU has successfully defended students against this kind of nonsense. https://www.aclu.org/news/va-middle-school-student-blue-hair-allowed-return-class-after-aclu-intervention

It's true. Girls education is important and these rules are basically saying that a man's education is more important than any other female!?!? Like oh I'm sorry that my sholder has turned you on. A guy should be able to handle there own erections....;... And on top of all that this is an art school. I was gonna dye my hair pastel pink and I was really excited about it. BUT, because of these rules I can't dye my hair and I would've done it any ways, but I'm not gonna mess up my future for getting a referral on MY, I repeat MY HAIR.

I feel as though the dress code is too strict for the girls. First of all the limits are placed because it is "distracting" for male students. Male students should learn to keep their eyes other places! I also believe that most jeans are actually tighter than leggings, shorts and skirts and therefore should also be considered "distracting". By giving us girls so many restrictions it teaches us the wrong values. We should be able to dress freely in the world without having to worry about males looking at our bodies and calling them "distracting".
