NO Microtransit for Park City!

PARK CITY say NO TO MICROTRANSIT!!! Your City Council is just about to vote YES on $680,000+ for 6 cars, 6 zones, 6 months to get people to the nearest bus stop! That's $26,000+ a week for FREE RIDES!!!!

Furthermore this does nothing to reduce the carbon footprint because electric vehicles are plugging in to coal-powered energy in Park City.

Tell City Council this is ridiculous and does NOTHING to solve our transportation issues!
The real transportation issues are too many cars on Main Street (rideshare increase, tourism increase, workforce increase),  85% of the workforce commuting in in single occupancy vehicles (SOV),  and traffic congestion from increased cars and visitors. Microtransit does nothing to address any of these above issues.  The current recommendation for Microtransit is that one car would operate in each zone bringing people from residential areas to bus stops.

  • *Wed. 9/20  City Council and staff are hosting an open house at city library third-floor from 5-6:30 PM this is supposed to be an opportunity for public to speak to the City.
  • *Thursday night City Hall 6 pm City Council meeting this will pass if you don't speak up.

Additionally, Andy Beerman and Tim Henney are running for re-election and have publicly stated they support this! Here's the email addresses for the voting City Council:

Becca Gerber becca.gerber@parkcity.org
