Prescription drug dependence: government launches investigation

James Moore

Jan 25, 2018 — Dear All

As some of you will have seen, there was a great deal of media interest in Prescribed Drug Dependence yesterday (Jan 24th). This is due to the sustained efforts of the Council for Evidence-Based Psychiatry (http://cepuk.org), the All Party Parliamentary Group on Prescribed Drug Dependence (http://prescribeddrug.org) and others too.

If you wanted to read the coverage, here are links:

The Guardian is also seeking personal experiences:

This is a huge step forward in acknowledging and recognising the plight of so many affected by dependence on, and withdrawal from, a range of psychiatric medications. If you contributed yesterday, thank you for making your voice heard.

Thank you, as always, for your support.

James
