On April 5, 2022, there was a fatal accident at the intersection of 450N and 650W in Union Township involving a school bus and passenger vehicle. Thankfully, no children were present; this time. This is a dangerous intersection that only gets worse when crops obstruct the view of the present sign. This is not the first accident there, and surely not the last.   Thus far, Porter County has refused to put a 4way there and even denied a guardrail to protect a house that has already been hit, from being hit again. Please take a minute to sign this petition to show the county that we want to keep our families safe.
