It has been learnt that Corona is taking heavy toll electricity employees and their families.
Situation is worsening day by day and reporting of Corona deaths among electricity employees is surmounting.
So all the State Constituent are requested to write letters to their respective State machinery and take up the issue of safety of Electricity Employees with their managements,some demands have been raised by Federation through yesterday's letter and copies have been sent to all State Chief Ministers and UT's heads.
All State Constituent are requested to share the no.of deceased fellows due to Corona and numbers of affected fellows in present so that Federation may apprise the seriousness of the condition to the ears of Government.

We as Power men are doing our duty but Governments are not even ready to recognize as Front line Corona Warriors or even not providing the required health services. I am deeply saddened and grieved to know that our young Junior Engineer in Uttar Pradesh succumbed to death in the PGI where he has given his services for maintaining the power supply of the same PGI.

So friends it is high time to decide the priority among life and duty.If life will not be there eventually duty will be gone but if life remains we will be able to provide our services in line of our duty.So it is requested to all the fellows of the electricity sector to stay safe,observe all safety precautions,
stop all public contacts,make use of digital and social platforms for work, minimize the roaming until and unless extremely required, wear good quality masks,use face shield,always keep sanitizers in your pocket and use it frequently after touching any surface,don't use physical money,sanitize your phone's,don't exchange your phone's.
We as FRONT LINE WORKERS are paying our homage and obituary to all demised fellows and are praying for all those who got corona infection for their speedy recovery.
