Petition Closed

The Federal Court has ordered the State of Tennessee to put the Green Party on the ballot but the state refuses to put them on the state website candidate list so few will know the non-corporate funded party is in the race. Greens won't be invited to candidate forums or receive candidate questionnaires greatly reducing their ability to connect with people who pay attention to politics to talk about solutions for people's needs.  We kindly ask that the Green Party candidates be listed along with the others to expand peoples the choices.

Letter to
Secretary Tre Hargett & Elections Director Mark Goins Secretary of State of Tennessee
I just signed the following petition addressed to: Secretary of State of Tennessee.

----------------
List the Green Party candidates on the state elections website

The Federal Court has ordered the State of Tennessee to put the Green Party on the ballot but the State, loser of the lawsuit, refuses to put them on the state website candidate list. Thus few will know the non-corporate funded party is even in the race. Greens won't be invited to candidate forums or receive candidate questionnaires greatly reducing their ability to connect with people who pay attention to politics to talk about the kind of policy people need. Most people won't know the Greens are even in the race until they see their ballot! We ask that the State to kindly put the Green Party on their candidate lists to inform the electorate.
