After Udupi, more Karnataka colleges close doors to students wearing hijab.

While there was no rules about the hijab in the college rulebook or in the state government’s guidelines for pre-university colleges, the state education department directed the college in Udupi to “maintain the status quo” — or, enforce the uniform that has been put in place by the institute and not allowing students to wear the hijab. The students however refused to return to the classes without wearing the hijab, insisting that  it is a part of their faith.

Right to religion,

Right to equality ,are the fundamental rights of the constitution,so Supreme court should intervene in this matter and punish the colleges principles or the poeple behind the scene , who are stopping to enter the premises with hijab.

Let's remind the slogan of BJP, THE BETI BACHAO , BETI PADAO.

Have they forgetten the slogan or it was just for the election purpose?

No action was taken by central or state governments.

I urge supreme court should take some action against this polluted minds who are stopping the girls to enter the colleges with hijab.
