Champion of Change Responds Promptly with No Change

Nov 23, 2017 — Every day our numbers grow larger by about 1,000 more each day, but convincing decision makers that change is necessary requires more action.

You would've read that due to your outrage, Honey Birdette have agreed to "adjust the more provocative elements" of their latest ads, but that doesn't address the main concern of our petition - Westfield standards need to prevent this from ever happening again.

It is pathetic that the CEO's response is that they are not in a position to implement any proactive measures to stop Honey Birdette in the future. The corporate titles and cliches ring more hollow as the "Male Champion of Change" responds with maintaining the status quo! The irony.

Perhaps he doesn't understand that 57,000+ of us no longer want to shop at Westfield shopping centres because we are fed up of their inaction to stop Honey Birdette. They are taking note that many of you #avoidWestfield and #boycottWestfield already so please continue to do so this Christmas. When asked by the innocent other tenants why we are avoiding them too, please refer them to the inaction of Westfield management on this matter.

I salute you and am honoured to be part of this movement to take responsibility of the environment of our own community hubs for the sake of our women and children. Keep sharing the concerns of this petition and we will see change soon. Keep it up!
