Let the Worldwide Adventist Church Vote on the Abortion Issue!

Back in 1992, the General Conference Executive Committee approved what is known as the "Guidelines on Abortion" but this document was never submitted for the approval by the worldwide Adventist Church in a General Conference session.

This decision to profit from the killing of  unborn children resulted in the deaths of thousands of innocent victims and represents a direct violation of the Sixth Commandment of the Decalogue which reads: "You shall not murder."

Contrast this with a minor issue like the ordination of women that was voted by the General Conference three times already in spite of the fact that it has caused the death of no one. This moral anomaly must be corrected.

It is high time for the leadership of the church to submit those guidelines on killing to the church in a General Conference session without further delay.
