Hello my husband has been serving a life sentence with the possibility of parole but not until 2049. He has been gone for almost 12 years now. I have made a petition before but it didn’t get far. The justice system in the United States needs to change. My husband was falsely accused and put away for 115 years to life. He can’t parole until 2049. He was taken from his family, his wife, and his daughter. I am hoping to get signatures that can help get him resentenced or brought back to court to get him released. This is so sad and with so much violence going on in the prisons today, I fear for my husbands safety everyday. We are loosing our men to the corrupt system that fails to put adequate jurors on trial that actually will spend adequate time looking at the case. A case with NO EVIDENCE. How is it even fair or legally ok to convict my husband under 20 minutes with no evidence. In the state of California that’s not even ethical. He was told he couldn’t have a speedy trial smh that’s called violation of his constitutional rights. He was time barred due to the para legal not turning in his paperwork when it was heading to Supreme court. His appeals, habeous corpus appeals, we’re all denied at the lower level courts. His last appeal was denied due to the judge not being able to read the mail man’s hand writing. THE MAIL MANS HAND WRITING. Are you serious? This is wrong on so many levels and something needs to be done. Please help me get him back in court. I have watched murders walk away with less, child molesters walk away with a slap on their wrist but a man who is convicted wrongfully even when one victim stated it wasnt him and yes I said VICTIM not witness. This is two counts of attempted murder that was placed on him all because of his prior as a child 15 years old ……because they sure didn’t have no evidence to convict him. That isnt fair at all. So because he had a traumatic childhood he deserves to be put away for life due to mistakes that happened at the age of 15. Mental health is real so why wasn’t he rehabilitated as a child. This system is flawed and my husbands freedom should be worth more. So money and politics means more then my innocent husbands life? I am hurt and I am a wife crying out for help.
