As someone, who has many friends who smoke for purposes such as anxiety, depression and the likes, and then they end up getting out in jail, DJJ, or probation because of an illness or some form of pain that they just want to go away and they have found a way to do this through smoking and then are punished for something (even though it is illegal), that they just want to be gone. Or even worse since they are having to buy it through non primary sources, they get weed that is laced and they die, and I have known people that this happens to. There are no reported deaths from the use of marijuana, but 480,000 die a year from cigarettes and 88,000 people die from drinking, and yet it is legal? I just can’t see a point in this. States are starting to make recreational and medical use of marijuana legal and there is a reason for this.
