It has been more than 10 years, and we are still waiting for our homes — or even our money back.

Many of us are now:

- Paying EMI and rent together

- Facing severe financial stress

- Living with uncertainty and anxiety

- Watching our dream homes remain abandoned structures

 

What went wrong?

- Projects were launched in 2013–2014 with promises of delivery by 2016

- Even in 2026, both projects remain incomplete or abandoned

- Buyers have already paid 80–90% of the total cost

- No Completion Certificate (CC) or Occupancy Certificate (OC)

- No basic facilities like electricity, lifts, water, or amenities

- Many flats are still just pillars and slabs

 

Serious violations and concerns:

- 500+ RERA refund orders not complied with

- 125+ Consumer Court orders ignored

- Reports and investigations indicating fund diversion and financial irregularities

- Allegations of multiple sales of the same flats

- Sale of incomplete flats without legal approvals

- Long-standing non-compliance with statutory obligations

 

Current hardship faced by buyers:

- Average home loan burden: ₹25 lakh per buyer

- Additional loss of around ₹2 lakh per year in Pre-EMI

- Families paying rent + EMI for years

- Some residents forced to live without basic infrastructure

- Many families have lost their life savings

Our demands:

- time-bound project completion OR Ensure full refund with interest

- Immediately stop registration of incomplete and illegal flats

- Conduct a forensic audit of the promoter’s finances

- Take strict legal action against those responsible

- Attach promoter assets to recover buyers’ money

- Appoint an authority to complete the projects if required

This is not just about delayed housing.
