The people of North Carolina deserve better.

Too often, candidates only go to places with money, neglecting voters outside the big cities.

That needs to change.

Abraham Lincoln, the father of the Republican party, rose to prominence through his debates with Stephen Douglas in the Lincoln-Douglas Debates for United States Senate. They traveled the state of Illinois, bringing the debate to the people.

That's what we need in North Carolina.

There are 176 days from the end of the primary to the general election on November 8th. There are 100 counties.

As a candidate in this United States Senate race in North Carolina, I challenge the other candidates, if they should win their parties primary, to take up this challenge and agree to debate in every county before election day.

If we truly want to get dark money out of politics and empower the voters, this is how you do it.

North Carolina needs to see their next Senator, ask them the tough questions in hostile environments, and hear their answers for themselves, unfiltered by the media.
