These people are British. Perhaps if we weren't so keen on building an empire this situation wouldn't exist. But it does and Chagossians have the right to British citizenship without charge for what is already theirs.

Appalled that Javid used the courts to get his way and using OUR money … Despicable way to treat British Citizens … this must be overruled and the Chagossians given the right to live here as British citizens x

The UK owes these people because the UK made a lot of money etc from letting out these peoples homes without asking permission and the Yanki paid well.
