Do you think that people should be allowed to bring a “plus one” to their graduation prom celebration? Our principal believes that “it should only be a celebration of our fellow graduates and there should be 0 romance”

-no one from younger grades in our school

-no boyfriends/girlfriends (etc.)

It also needs to be inclusive to “everyone”

How is it inclusive to the people who either A want their partner to be there to celebrate with them on this huge milestone or B the ones who want to go but feel uncomfortable or are more shy who would benefit from being able to bring someone to celebrate with. 

There is also the liability aspect of having people from others schools attend. But how come past years were aloud plus ones with no issues?
