Angela Calpito was unfairly taken off as a candidate for Louis Riel’s GDE ( student council ) president because of a satire video that was taken on the first day of school where she made the comment "F* the other B* vote for me" . Although this may seem wrong, I’d like to remind everyone that the video was taken on the first day of school and so she wasn’t aware of who was running against her. Furthermore only 3 people outside Angela’s friend group saw the video. Regardless of these facts , the school is calling this "bullying". If anything this quote is only proof of how dedicated Angela was to earn the position since the onset of the school year. Angela worked super hard on her application & campaign. The video she worked after school hours for to earn the presidency proves this, but no one will ever get to see it. We feel it would be a shame to see all her efforts go to waste because of something that was said out of context. Anyone else who agree with us should sign this petition to get her back in the race.
