ゲストハウスは、世界各国、日本各地からの旅人を迎え入れ、その人に合ったオーダーメイドの観光情報やレストラン紹介を行ってきました。口コミサイトなどを見ていただくと、多くがその宿の個性を評価されていることがわかると思います。
こうしてアットホームな宿泊体験を提供する場所として奈良の観光を支えてきた小規模宿泊施設が、消滅の危機に瀕しています。

奈良の宿泊施設は、１月末、国内初の感染者が奈良公園に立ち寄ったと報道があった時からキャンセルが相次ぎ、非常に早い段階から今回のコロナ禍による経済的ダメージを受けています。そして、その後も外国からの入国禁止、そして全国拡大した緊急事態宣言で売上ゼロの日々が続いています。
旅行者が戻ってきてくれるのをただ待つことしか出来ない現状では、数か月たたずして多くのゲストハウスが物件を手放し、経営を終えなければならない状況です。

今回われわれが希望していることは、この小規模宿泊施設を維持するための支援を自治体に要請する事に対する皆さんの後押しです。

｟内容｠各宿泊施設持続の為の自治体からの資金援助
※宿泊施設への独自支援を決定した市町村: 西伊豆町、長崎市、金沢市、京都市など

お客様同士そしてオーナーとの会話がはずむゲストハウスや、我が家のようにすごせる一棟貸宿泊などが、奈良に戻ってきた旅行者の皆さんをお出迎え出来る施設が残っていられるように、ぜひ皆様の声で、お力添えください。

Guesthouses and B&B’s welcome travelers from all around the world and from all over Japan. Small-scale lodgings offer a more personable experience for travelers, such as recommended travel plans and the best local restaurants. If you look at travel booking sites, you will find that many of our guests value our inn's individuality.

Our Guesthouses and B&B’s that have supported Nara's tourism are at risk of disappearing.

Guesthouse bookings were canceled one after another at the end of January when it was reported that Nara had identified its first-person infected with coronavirus, and the financial damage caused by this pandemic was felt immediately thereafter. Since then, the days of zero sales have persisted due to the prohibition of entry from foreign countries and the national emergency declaration. 

Now that we can only wait for travelers to return to Japan, many guest houses have had to let go of their property and or are planning to close their business within a few months.

Municipalities, such as Nishiizu town, Nagasaki city, Kanazawa city, and Kyoto city have already decided to independently support their lodgings.

What we want during this difficult time is to ask our municipality for financial assistance from May 2020 until immigration restrictions and domestic emergency declaration are lifted to maintain our businesses.
