北星中学校と旭川市教育委員会は「第三者委員会の調査に影響を与える恐れがある」との理由で、当時、どのようないじめ対応をしたかについて、説明を保留にし続けております。

しかしながら、第三者委員会は、関係当事者の主張を聞いた上で事実認定をおこなう「法律や医療福祉の専門家を集めた公平中立な機関」であり、調査に影響を与えることはありません。

したがって「調査に影響を与える恐れがある」との理由は失当であり、北星中学校の保護者や市民に説明をおこなわないで良い理由にはなり得ません。

北星中学校や旭川市教育委員会が、当時、どのようないじめ対応をおこなったかについて、説明を果たさず、検証結果も再発防止策も示さないことは、北星中保護者や旭川市民の安心安全を脅かすものでありますので、今津ひろすけ旭川新市長から北星中学校と旭川市教育委員会に対し、厳しく指導頂きたく存じます。
