«SOS Βέρμιο» ενάντια στους αιολικούς σταθμούς!

Σε συνεργασία (και με την υποστήριξη) του «SOS Βέρμιο», δημιουργήσαμε αυτήν την αναφορά για να βοηθήσουμε στην απομάκρυνση των αιολικών γεννητριών, που τοποθετούνται από διάφορες εταιρείες για να καταστρέψουν την ελληνική φύση.

— Από το 2011 αγώνες ενάντια στην αιολική βιομηχανία για τη διάσωση των βουνών στην Ημαθία.

Μέσα από τα κείμενα της συλλογικότητας, παρουσιάζεται  η ιστορία και το παρόν του αγώνα για το Βέρμιο: Ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα αιολικά «πάρκα» της Ευρώπης στο Βέρμιο.

— Από το 2009 που άρχισε να αναπτύσσεται η αιολική βιομηχανία στην χώρα μας, το Βέρμιο για πολύ συγκεκριμένο λόγο αποτέλεσε το νούμερο ένα στόχο των «Αιολικών επενδυτών». Παρά την σχεδόν ανύπαρκτη αναφορά του στον χάρτη αιολικού δυναμικού της Ελλάδος, το Βέρμιο έχει την ατυχία να βρίσκεται δίπλα στις κεντρικές λιγνιτικές μονάδες της ΔΕΗ. Αυτό για τους «αιολικούς επενδυτές» μεταφράζεται σε ελαχιστοποίηση των εξόδων μεταφοράς του ρεύματος και κατ’ επέκταση εκτίναξη των κερδών τους σε περίπτωση ανεύρεσης χρηματοδότησης και εγκατάστασης.

Την ίδια στιγμή που το παλιό σύστημα των αδειών όριζε «κλειστές» εγγυημένες τιμές παραγωγής ρεύματος, πολύ πάνω από την μέση τιμή στη χονδρική αγορά.

Γίνεται εύκολα αντιληπτό λοιπόν, γιατί μόλις το 2011, το Βέρμιο ήδη συγκέντρωνε πάνω του άδειες παραγωγής ρεύματος ισχύος άνω των 600MW και το 2017 με επίσημη απάντηση της ΡΑΕ  συγκέντρωνε 1014MW (!).

O απόλυτος παραλογισμός που καθιστά το Βέρμιο «περιοχή-αιολικής-προτεραιότητας» με το 1/6 του συνόλου παραγωγής σε σχέση με τον εθνικό στόχο του 2030 για παραγωγή 6,6 γιγαβάτ από αιολικά πάνω του.

Η δε χωροταξική αοριστία, θεωρητικά, με βάση τις άδειες αυτές, επιτρέπει την εγκατάσταση περίπου 780 (!) τυπικών ανεμογεννητριών (των 2MW) μόνο στους δήμους Βέροιας και Νάουσας. (0.66 τυπικές Α/Μ ανά 1000 στρέμματα. Σύνολο έκτασης: 1.221.000 στρέμματα).

Όλα αυτά κινητοποίησαν τα αντανακλαστικά μερίδας ανθρώπων που από την πρώτη στιγμή (2011) ανέδειξε το θέμα σε τοπικό επίπεδο. Με πενιχρά μέσα και με «κλειστά τ’ αυτιά» των συμπολιτών λόγω των δύσκολων συγκυρίων σε επίπεδο κεντρικής πολιτικής σκηνής, το Βέρμιο οδηγήθηκε να έχει «αναίμακτα» και σιωπηρά εγκατεστημένες περί τις 40 ανεμογεννήτριες ισχύος 82.4MW. Το αποτέλεσμα των εγκαταστάσεων σε συνδυασμό με την ολοένα μεγαλύτερη γνώση του θέματος διεύρυνε κατά πολύ το ενδιαφέρον του κόσμου με την συλλογικότητα «SOS Bέρμιο» να λαμβάνει σάρκα και οστά στη Νάουσας, ως κινηματικό όργανο αγώνα αποτροπής που διοικείται από την ανοιχτή συνέλευση των πολιτών.

Εξ αρχής θεμελίωσε ως αγωνιστικό πρόσταγμα την εναντίωση στην αυταπατη των αιολικών βαλε και τη σωτηρία του Βέρμιου από τον όλεθρο των πάμπολλων εγκαταστάσεων που επίκεινται. Θέτοντας ως μέγιστο σκοπό αρχικά την ενημέρωση του κόσμου που ζούσε (και ακόμα ζει) τον μύθο του «Αιόλου» που θα μας σώσει από την «κλιματική αλλαγή».

Με ποικίλες ενημερωτικές δράσεις που ξεκινούν από επιστημονικές ημερίδες ως την μαζική διανομή εντύπων, την συλλογή υπογραφών και την έντονη παρουσία στα ΜΜΕ - κατάφερε αυτό που πριν λίγα χρόνια φάνταζε αδύνατο.

Να αποτελεί το σημείο αναφοράς των εξελίξεων για το θέμα και ένα από τα πιο ενεργά κινήματα πανελλαδικά. Με παρουσίες: Στην πανελλήνια συγκέντρωση κινημάτων κατά των αιολικών στην Αθήνα. Στην πορεία διαμαρτυρίας της Αθήνας για τα Άγραφα. Στην διαδήλωση κατά του αντιπεριβαλλοντικού νόμου Χατζηδάκη στο σύνταγμα εν μέσω καραντίνας (κ.ά.) – πάντα και παντού αλληλέγγυο, εκφράζοντας την αμέριστη συμπαράσταση σε όλα τα κινήματα της χώρας που αγωνίζονται για το δίκαιο των τόπων τους, για την σωτηρία της φύσης.

Υπήρξε ίσως το μοναδικό κίνημα που πρόσφατα τοποθετήθηκε ξεκάθαρα δημόσια υπέρ της αναγκαιότητας συνέχισης εξόρυξης-χρήσης του λιγνίτη. Ως βασικού ενεργειακού πυλώνα της χώρας,  με εξελιγμένες «καθαρές» μονάδες και με την συμμετοχή συγκεκριμένων ΑΠΕ στο σύνολο του ενεργειακού μίγματος της χώρας. Για την κεφαλαιώδους σημασίας διατήρηση της ενεργειακης ανεξαρτησιας της χώρας και του δημόσιου χαρακτήρα αυτής.

Η συνεχής πίεση προς όλες τις κατευθύνσεις και τα κέντρα εξουσίας για το θέμα των αιολικών στο Βέρμιο απέδωσε καρπούς με τον εξαναγκασμό των εκάστοτε δημοτικών αρχών σε συνεδριάσεις επί του θέματος και αρνητικές γνωμοδοτήσεις (Φλεβάρης '18 και Νοέμβρης '19).

Πρακτικό αποτέλεσμα όλων αυτών ‘φαίνεται πως είναι’ η (πρόσκαιρη) απομάκρυνση του κολοσσού της
«ΓΕΚ Τερνα» από την θέση «Τρούλος» που θίγει άμεσα το χιονοδρομικό των 3-5 Πηγαδιών. Για την συγκεκριμένη εγκατάσταση ο νυν δήμαρχος Νάουσας έχει λάβει σαφή εντολή από το ΔΣ Νάουσας για προσφυγή στο ΣτΕ την οποία (έως τώρα) δεν εκτελεί αφού μένει στις πιθανές διαβεβαιώσεις της εταιρείας που «φαίνεται πως φεύγουν» - όπως χαρακτηριστικά ανέφερε.

Αυτό που σήμερα αντιμετωπίζει το Βέρμιο είναι ίσως η μεγαλύτερη πρόκληση όλων των εποχών για όλους και για όλα γύρω από αυτό.

Η ενεργοποίηση του «φαραωνικόυ» αιολικού της εταιρείας «Αιολική Βέρμιου» - πρόκειται σταδιακά να εγκαταστήσει 300 επιπρόσθετα ΜW, καθιστώντας το Βέρμιο μία απέραντη βαλε σημαίνοντας ταυτόχρονα την ολοκληρωτική καταστροφή του.

Ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα αιολικά «πάρκα» στην Ευρώπη έρχεται να προστεθεί στο προ πολλού εξαντλημένο Βέρμιο από: (α) την ήδη υφιστάμενη εγκατάσταση αιολικών στο Βέρμιο (β) τα 2 χιονοδρομικά (Σέλι/Πηγάδια) (γ) τη διάνοιξη του δυσκολότερου κομματιού της Εγνατίας (δ) τη διάνοιξη του ΤΑΠ (ε) τα λιγνιτωρυχεία της Πτολεμαΐδας στις ΒΔ παρυφές του.

Στο νέο - μεγάλο αγώνα που έχουν ξεκινήσει οι υπερασπιστές του Βέρμιου θέτουν ένα νέο στόχο πέραν του προφανούς της αποτροπής – «ολοι μπροστά στην ιστορία και κανείς πίσω από αυτήν». Με τον τρόπο αυτό ζητούν την ενεργοποίηση; τοποθέτηση των πάντων εμπλεκομένων μη ανεχόμενοι την αποχή από τις ιστορικές στιγμές. Ο καταμερισμός των ευθυνών θα υπάρξει αμείλικτος για το «μετά» — που δεν υπάρχει. Πρακτικά, το μέγα ζητούμενο είναι η κινητοποίηση των δήμων Βέροιας, Αλεξάνδρειας, Κοζάνης και Εορδαίας; των οποίων η σιωπή διαχρονικά για το θέμα είναι εκκωφαντική.

H μάχη φαντάζει «άνιση», τα συμφέροντα είναι τεράστια. Στο τέλος της ημέρας για τους αγωνιστές του Βέρμιου αυτό που έχει σημασία, είναι ο αγώνας για την υπεράσπιση της αξιοπρέπειας και του δικαίου. Ο αγώνας για τη φύση, τη ζωή και την ελευθερία.

Όυτε μια επιπλέον ανεμογεννήτρια στο Βέρμιο.
Ελευθέρα βουνά χωρίς αιολικα. Εμείς θα γράψουμε την ιστορία μας – όλοι μπρόστα στην ιστορία.

«SOS Vermio» against wind farms!

In a collaboration with (and with the support of) «SOS Vermio», we have created this petition to help the removal of wind-generators, that are being placed by various companies to destroy greek nature.

– Since 2011, we are fighting against the wind industry for the rescue of the mountains in Imathia.

Through the texts of the collective, the history and the present of the battle for Vermio are presented: One of the largest wind «parks» in Europe placed in Vermio.

– Since 2009, when the wind industry began to develop in our country, Vermio (for a very specific reason) has been number one target for the «wind investors». Despite almost non-existent reference to the potential wind map of Greece, Vermio has the misfortune to be located next to the central lignite units of PPC. This for «wind investors» translates into a cost minimization of electricity transmissions and consequently into a surge in their profits, in the matter of financing and installation.

At the same time, the old licensing system sets «closed» guaranteed power-generated prices, much higher than the average price in the wholesale market.
Clearly, it is very easy to understand the immensity of a problem – in 2011 only, Vermio was already collecting power-generated licenses of over 600MW, and in 2017 with an official response from RAE, Vermio has been collecting the rate of 1014MW (!) of power-generated licenses.

This absolute absurdity makes Vermio the adequate «wind-priority-area» with 1/6 of the total production, in relation to the national target of achieving the production of 6.6 gigawatts of wind, by the year of 2030.

The spatial vagueness, in theory (based on the permissions), completely allows the installation of about 780 (!) standard wind-turbines (of 2MW) only in the municipalities of Veria and Naoussa. (0.66 standard A/M per 1000 acres. Total area: 1.221.000 acres).

All this mobilized the reflexes of a group of people, who from the first movement (in 2011) raised the problem on a local level. With meager means and with «the deafness» of the citizens, due to difficulty of circumstances of the central-political scene, Vermio was left «bloodless» and about 40 wind-turbines of 82.4MW power rate - were installed silently.
The result of the installation in combination with the growing knowledge of the matter, has greatly stired up the interest of the citizens together with the «SOS Vermio» collective - to take on flesh and blood in Naoussa, as an cinematic instrument of deterrence, managed by the open assembly of citizens.

From the beginning, «SOS Vermio» has been established as a fighting order of the opposition to the delusion of wind farm, and aimed for the salvation of Vermio from the doom of many facilities - that are imminent, while initially setting as their ultimate goal, the information of the people who lived (and still live) the myth of «Aeolus» that will save Vermio from «the climate change».

With a variety of informative activities, ranging from scientific conferences to the mass production of publications, the collection of signatures and strong presence in the media - all this resulted in an enormous achievement, that seemed impossible a few years ago.

The achievement extended to be the reference point of the developments on the subject, and one of the most active movements nation-wide. With presences: At the pan-Hellenic gathering of anti-wind movements. Along the way in protests of Athens for Agrafa, including the participation in demonstrations against the anti-environmental law - Hatzidakis in the constitution, right in the middle of the pandemics (and etc.) – always and everywhere with solidarity, we are expressing the full support for each movement of Greece, that fights for the law of their places and the salvation of nature.

This was perhaps, the only movement that recently managed to take a clear stance in public, in favor of the need for continuation of mining and usage of lignite. Lignite, as the main energy pillar of the country, with advanced «clean» units and the participation of specific RES in the entire energy mixture of the country, serving as the crucial importance of maintaining the energy independence of the country and its public character.

The constant pressure in all directions and the power of the attention, regarding the issue of wind farms in Vermio, bore a fruit by forcing respective municipal authorities to attend public meetings and discussions on the matter. (February '18 and November '19).

A practical result of all this «seems to be» the (temporary) removal of a giant «GEK Terna» from the site of «Troullos» (the archaeological site of an ancient Mionian settlement on Crete), which directly affects the ski resort of 3-5 Pigadia. For the specific installation, the current mayor of Naoussa, has received the CoC - which (so far) he does not execute, since he stays in the possible assurances of a company that «seems to be leaving» - as he characteristicaly stated.

What Vermio is facing today is perhaps, the greatest challenge of all time - for everyone and everything that surrounds it. The activation of the «pharaonic» wind farm of the company «Aeoliki Vermiou» - is going to gradually install 300 additional MW, making Vermio a vast wind farm, while signifying its complete distruction.

One of the largest wind farms in Europe is added to the long-exhausted Vermio by: (a) the already existing wind farm in Vermio (b) the 2 ski resorts (Seli/Pigadia) (c) the opening of the most difficult part of Egnatia (d) the opening of the TAP (e) the lignite mines of Ptolemaida in its NW suburbs.

In the new - big fight that the defenders of Vermio have started, they have set a new goal beyond the obvious of prevention – «everyone in front of the story and no one behind it». This way «SOS Vermio» asks for the activation; placement of everything involved not tolerating the abstention from the historical moments. The division of responsibilities will be relentless for the «after» — because «after» does not exist. Practically, the equally big problem is the mobilization of the municipalities of Veria, Alexandria, Kozania and Eordaia; whose silence regarding the problematic matter is deafening over the time. The battle seems «unequal», and our interests are huge. At the end of the day, for the fighters of Vermio, what seriously matters is the fight for the defense of dignity and the law. The battle for nature, life and freedom.

No to another wind-turbine in Vermio.
An absolute yes to free mountains without artificial wind. We will write our history – everyone in the front of the story.
