A third-generation Washingtonian, Courtney Gregoire brings substantial international trade experience from both the public and private sectors to the Port of Seattle. She is passionate about connecting younger generations with the jobs of tomorrow, protecting our environment, and attracting more visitors to our beautiful home state.
Courtney served as the first Director of the National Export Initiative at the U.S. Department of Commerce for President Obama. As Director, Courtney led the Department’s efforts to double U.S. exports by 2015 and support millions of jobs here at home. She was named Deputy Chief of Staff for the Department in 2011. Courtney was appointed to the Seattle Port Commission in March of 2013. She will stand for election in November of 2013.
