We urge Kowloon District Council, Hong Kong to negotiate the release of this 2 metre Black Tipped Reef Shark which is held in a small tank in Lei Yue Mun Fish Market, Kowloon, Hong Kong, and consult with the Hong Kong Veterinary to determine to where it can be liberated without harm.
.Black Tipped Reef Sharks are social creatures found in large groups & capable of catapulting from the water & rotating before falling back into the water. This is a totally unacceptable & unnatural environment for this creature.
While probably not illegal based on Hong Kong's Animal Welfare Laws which are based on 1911 British law, we respectfully urge that kindness & humanity prevail in this situation
DOGS, HORSES & DOMESTIC PETS are LEFT ALONE ON ALLOTMENT SITES in MISERABLE SQUALID CONDITIONS THROUGHOUT THE UK, in CONTRAVENTION OF ANIMAL LAWS
PUPPIES are being BRED ILLEGALLY IN ALLOTMENT SHEDS
FREEZING in WINTER, SUFFOCATING in SUMMER ANIMALS ARE NOT DISCOVERED UNTIL THEY ARE DYING of THIRST & STARVATION
BRADFORD COUNCIL-RUN ALLOTMENTS DO NOT ALLOW ANIMALS, WE WANT THEM TO BAN ANIMALS FROM ALL ALLOTMENT SITES
