Workers from four Winnipeg Tim Hortons restaurants, owned by Kamta Roy Singh, have recently come forward to union staff expressing concerns about their working conditions, such as issues around wages and hours.
Recently, a Tim Hortons employee was fired simply for talking to union organizers.
Management has threatened to shut down the restaurants if the employees exercise their right to unionize. Workers are now fearful for their jobs and livelihoods and are afraid to speak up.
We demand that Tim Hortons management:
Reinstate the fired worker to their position!
Stop intimidating and threatening employees who are exercising their legal right to join a union!
