Thank You First Responder non-profit 501(c)3 organization (TYFRO) is a grassroots effort whose purpose is to raise awareness, support, celebrate, honor and most importantly create a “Culture of Thank You” for all of our Nation’s First Responders for the difficult job they do every day by putting their lives on the line to protect and enhance our country and way of life. First Responders need better tools to engage with people dealing with mental health issues, your donation helps provide Mental Health First Aid Training FREE to enhance skills needed to deescalate situations and reach out and provide support to someone dealing with mental health issues and help connect them to appropriate care. Our Mission Currently Serves the Following Goals: -> (1) Create a “Culture of Thank You” for First Responders; (2) Support for the creation of a National Day of Observance for First Responders; (3) Mental Health First Aid Training for First Responders. This initiative requires a full spectrum of participation with all demographics, but especially those who have been helped either directly or indirectly by First Responders. People from all walks of life are critical to the success of this effort. Help us thank First Responders for the difficult job they do every day by putting their lives on the line to protect and enhance our country and way of life. Just add the hashtag #ThankYouFirstResponder to your Tweets, Instagram Media, Flicker Posts or Google+ Activities and we’ll display on our website, We’re always working to create more ways to say Thank You to First Responders. If you have an idea, share it with us so we can further the cause!

Petitioning U.S. Congress, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Donald J. Trump

Designate October 28th each year as “Honoring the Nation’s First Responders Day.”

Every day First Responders put their lives on the line for their fellow Americans, United States Representatives Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Elijah Cummings (D-MD) have introduced the House companion resolution to a U. S. Senate bill sponsored by United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) along with Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) to to designate October 28, 2019 as “Honoring the Nation’s First Responders Day.” First Responders (Police, Firefighters, EMTs, and Paramedics) put their lives on the line everyday for people they don’t even know. They are more than good neighbors - they are our brothers, sisters, husbands, wives and friends. While everyone else is running away, they’re running towards the danger. It is time to honor them with a special day of their own: National First Responders Day. It’s long overdue and something all Americans can agree upon. So join the movement, sign the petition, spread the word on your social media and help as we petition Congress to make this day a reality. To ensure this worthy cause gets the attention it deserves, we are committed to do what we can to get the issue in front of as many people as possible so that members of Congress hear our collective voice. While we are proud to be creating awareness, this movement is so much bigger than any person or brand.  Please support our local heroes and sign the petition.
