These images are at a central gathering point in the city center where they can easily be viewed by children and young adults. They objectify the human body and normalise public nudity. Increasing numbers of girls are electronically posting images of themselves nude or semi-nude on the internet; seeing adverts like French Connection's further encourage their nudity as being for public rather than private. It also communicates that the female body can be veiwed as an object rather than being something to be respected.
