Tipperary Town Work House (built 1839 - 41) is one of the 'landmark' listed buildings in Tipperary Town. It is an important part of the history and heritage of this town with potential (if restored) to attract future tourism and help to re-generate this area. We call upon Tipperary County Council (owners of this building) to:
Ensure the building is protected from further damage and deterioration.
Develop plans to restore and re-use this building for the future benefit of Tipperary Town.
Actively, seek funding for the restoration of the building.
