Travelling solo in Australia but paying for two in Caravan parks and camping grounds?
Most caravan parks charge base their rate on 2 people staying on a site.
But wouldn't it be nice to find an overnight stop and pay for just what you use?
A solo traveller has a smaller carbon footprint than a couple and uses:
50% less power
50% less water in amenities
Single use of other facilities = less energy costs, less maintenance and cleaning.
So when there is no "plus one" don't you think that adopting a single rate would be a rational idea?
With a huge spike in the number of solo travellers (especially women) could they be missing something?
