MASS ALLIANCE AGAINST PREDATORY LENDING/BRING OUR WEALTH HOME
Since 2007, MAAPL has continued to take action to address the causes of the foreclosure crisis, pursue legislative action to protect homeowners and tenants, educate Massachusetts residents about their rights and the resources available to them to fight foreclosure/eviction, research and publish reports on the impact of the foreclosure crisis in the Commonwealth, and support its member organizations in their efforts to keep Massachusetts families in their homes and strengthen our neighborhoods and communities. Bring Our Wealth Home! is a project of the Mass. Alliance Against Predatory Lending (MAAPL) — working to reverse illegal predatory loans and foreclosures and the damage they have created. This project highlights the impact of the foreclosure crisis on Black and Brown families and communities, and supports and promotes the leadership of Black and Brown people in the fight to gain justice and return stolen wealth to their communities. To learn more about this project, visit our new “Bring Our Wealth Home!” page http://maapl.info/bowh/ .Fight Your Foreclosure—Get Help from MAAPL MAAPL is made up of people like you, who have been and are fighting the injustice of predatory loans and foreclosure. We invite you to join us so together we can win back homes and the vast amounts of wealth that has been taken. We now know how to turn the tide on the megabanks, but we need all of us working together to do it! If you were foreclosed in the last decade or so, it is likely that your foreclosure was illegal, and we can now prove that it was. If you are still in your home, together we can work to save it. Please fill out this form to receive our help with your foreclosure. If you are facing a foreclosure very soon or defending against eviction, we will reply very quickly. If not, there will be a delay in our response; hundreds are facing immediate harm today and need our help more urgently. You can also use this form to volunteer to help MAAPL fight foreclosures and keep people in their homes. Also, please visit our Where to Get Help page to see a list of useful resources and meetings where you can go for local information and support. Have a general question or comment? Use our Contact MAAPL form to send your message to us. We’re also looking for volunteers to help us end the foreclosure crisis in Massachusetts.
