Stand up to the Koch brothers with these Senate Climate Champs

19 U.S. Senators – led by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (RI) - are calling out the Koch brothers and all the Big Polluters that spend millions on “research” and public relations campaigns to deny and undermine climate science. They recently spoke on the Senate floor to help expose the polluter-funded Web of Denial and make the case for action on climate change. Now it is your turn! Add your name to join these Climate Champions in calling out phony climate science denial research and the polluters behind these dangerous campaigns.

Petitioning Public Utility Commission of Nevada

Toma acción: Solar power is under attack in Nevada. Fight back!

The benefits of solar power are much stronger than any luchador. But utility companies like NV Energy are trying to block rooftop solar in Nevada. Help us fight back for our economy, our children, our climate, and a healthier future para todos nosotros.  Very soon the Public Utility Commission of Nevada (PUCN) will decide whether or not to change our net metering program, one of the most important state policies for empowering Nevadans to go solar, save money, and fight climate change. Rooftop solar panels provide clean and local energy that lowers electricity costs, improves health, and brings economic opportunity to Nevada’s communities. Sign our petition to urge the PUCN Commissioners to stand strong for rooftop solar and energy choice for a healthier future.

Toma acción: Speak up and demand more solar energy!

The benefits of solar power are much stronger than any luchador. But Big Polluters are trying to block the development of clean energy everywhere. Help us fight back for our economy, our children, our climate and a healthier future para todos nosotros. We can’t allow the progress we’ve seen come to a screeching halt because of Big Oil and other polluters’ greed. Send an urgent message to Congress telling them to support the ITC extension.

Petitioning EPA Administrator McCarthy

Act now and protect los trabajadores from pesticides!

Every year, an estimated 10,000-20,000 farmworkers are poisoned on the job due to pesticide exposure. The EPA has finalized rules that better protect farmworkers from these toxic pesticides, ensuring that farmworkers finally receive the same types of protections as workers in other professions. This is the first update to these rules in 22 years and is a great step forward for environmental justice, but we need to make sure these protections are fully enforced. We have no time to lose: let’s make sure they enforce these farmworker protections to ensure a healthier community for us all.

New Hampshire: Support the EPA's Biggest Action Ever on Climate Change

The Obama administration has proposed a critical plan to limit the carbon pollution from new and existing power plants that fuels global warming. Currently, we limit how much mercury, arsenic, soot and other pollutants power plants dump into our air. But if the Koch brothers, the coal industry and congressional climate change deniers have their way, polluters will continue to have free rein to dump unlimited amounts of harmful carbon pollution into our air. That’s why the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed the Clean Power Plan, the first-ever commonsense carbon limits for power plants. But lobbyists, corporate polluters and Washington insiders are working tirelessly to stop this progress in its tracks.  The comment period for the Clean Power Plan just ended on December 1, so now it’s time to make sure that Congress doesn’t try to block the EPA’s ability to move forward. Don’t miss the chance to help make a huge impact on the fight for our planet’s future -- fill out your information here to tell your members of Congress that you support the EPA’s critical climate change action now.
