Petition Ofcom to open an investigation into the BBC and anti-competitive behaviour.
PLEASE HELP US BY SIGNING OUR PETITION TO FULLY REGULATE THE BBC AND CREATE A FAIR AND OPEN ENTERTAINMENT RESTAURANT MARKET. The BBC is exploiting a loophole in the Government Royal Charter which enables it to manipulate the UK restaurant market for the marketing of its television programmes, which include broadcast content for private commercial entertainments. The BBC is clearly favouring some performers, acts and even an overseas organisation, who trade using BBC public assets, including broadcast content (adaptations of original episodes) without a BBC licence, which you the British licence fee payer is funding. These favoured organisations have been making legal threats to British tribute acts in respect of BBC public assets. They state to work with the BBC and the BBC has reviewed their market materials, which include legal threats to British tributes and acts since 2011. Ofcom should be investigating these BBC irregularities and the impact it has on competition in the entertainment market. Laughines Ltd (est.1997) is a family run UK dinner show company performing parody shows which are critically different and with an enviable reputation. OFCOM MUST ACT NOW We would be grateful if you would sign our petition to Ofcom to open a formal investigation. Thank you in anticipation for your support.
