Jackie Trad MP
I was honoured to be elected to the Queensland Parliament on 28 April 2012 as the Member for South Brisbane. I am also proud to serve Queenslanders as the Deputy Premier, Minister for Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning and Minister for Trade and Investment in the Palaszczuk Labor Government. As a second generation Lebanese migrant who grew up in a small business family on the inner-Southside of Brisbane, I was proud to be the first person from my family to go to university, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Griffith University and a Master of Public Policy from Sydney University. I now live in West End with my husband, Damien where we are raising our two kids. The best part of my job is listening to and working with local residents to make our community an even better place to live and work. If there is ever anything I can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
