A density of 623 units of apartments and stacked townhouses is currently proposed for the open space behind the Orangeville Mall in Orangeville, Ontario.
We urge you to oppose a change in zoning that would allow dense development on the property, legally described as Part of Lot 3, Concession 2, Orangeville (file Nos. S1/10 and OPZ5/10).
Our opposition is based on, but not limited to, concerns for the environment, the town’s water table, traffic congestion, loss of seepage space that will directly impact flooding, increased taxes for everyone, and an unknown future for the dog park.
