SAY NO TO CSE IN GHANA EDUCATION CURRICULUM
Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) is a very controversial subject matter and we believe that children as young as 4 must not be programmed with issues of sexuality. Children are innocent and must be allowed to grow in a very natural incorruptible process of mind activity. We want Ghanaian children to know their moral values in society and be able to grow up with knowledge and information but in an appropriate manner that respects their traditions, faiths, culture and wellbeing. Also giving parents, teachers and the public a say in the decision-making process pertaining to sex education. If CSE is encouraged in Ghana it potentially would infringe on the rights of parents and children by: 1). Promoting a skeptical view of Ghanaian societal values 2). Rights of parents 3). Promote controversial lifestyles 4). Not promote inclusiveness of all belief principles We therefore are petitioning government that it should make an apparent statement that the idea has been renounced.
Say No To $200M Parliamentary Chamber In Ghana
The Parliament Of Ghana plan to build a new chamber to the tune of $200 M. Ghana Diaspora Women are asking them to spend that money on eliminating schools under trees and sheds. They could also use some of the funds to acquire more hospital beds, ambulances, medical equipments and improve on providing quality health care to prevent maternal deaths. Floods in Ghana are a major issue. Every year some ordinary hard working citizens lose their livelihoods and businesses. In some cases some even lose their lives. Not forgetting the waste issues in our major cities which also need to be seriously addressed by all Ghanaians. Ghana Diaspora Women are pleading with every Ghanaian living abroad and home who share the same sentiments to sign this petition as we say NO to the new chamber and YES to investing in the right sectors. Education is paramount and we owe it to the next generation to do what is right.
