    Oppose bail for remaining suspects accused of murdering Ivan Ivanov

    We, the undersigned, appeal for the bail application to be denied for the second and third suspects arrested for the alleged murder of Ukranian tourist - Ivan Ivanov on the 27th of July 2019. The accused are due to appear in court on the 2nd of August 2019 for their first appearance. CONTEXT FOR THE INCIDENT Via Hout Bay CPF Facebook page on 27 July 2019 Press Release around the East Fort murder this morning. *Note that the arrest was made by CCP The circumstances surrounding a murder are being investigated after a 44 Year old Ukrainian tourist was stabbed to death during a robbery while he was walking in Table Mountain National Park in Hout Bay this morning at around 11:00. Three suspects fled with his backpack containing personal effects. Members of the neighborhood watch apprehended one of the suspects, a 25 year old man in possession of the stolen items. He is due to make a court appearance in Wynberg on Monday. During the early hours of Wednesday, 31 July 2019 members of Hout Bay SAPS followed up on information which led to the arrest of a 24 year old suspect. He will appear in the Wynberg Magistrate court on Friday, 2nd of August 2019 on charges of murder. The first suspect that appeared in court on Monday on the same charges is still in custody. Ends.     We, the undersigned, appeal for the bail application to be denied for Sinaye Mposelwa who were arrested in Hout Bay, on the morning of 27th of July 2019 for the alleged murder of Ukranian tourist - Ivan Ivanov. The accused is due to appear in court on the 21st of August 2019. His sister-in-law, Dina sent through this message: "Ivan was a wonderful person with a kind and good heart. Ivan was a hard working professional being one of few people who Specialized in his field of agricultural inspection. Ivan had 3 university degrees to his name and started as a sailor and finished marine academy. Ivan completed degrees in economics and law in the UK. Ivan was fluent in 4 languages and was learning other. He was also passionate about military history and loved reading books."
