*** The public's assistance in locating these dogs is crucial to their health and well-being. *** These dogs are being used for the purposes of making money through busking and begging. They are drugged, made to lay on hard pavement while the busker is performing, and not given food or water so that they don't soil the sidewalks. The buskers/beggars transport these dogs from site to site in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland in containers which are illegal to use on the (UK’s Roads) – as a result they are exposed to exhaust fumes as well as excessive road noise. These people are not homeless. They use dogs and also young children to influence the public into giving Money and they also pretend to be disabled using wheelchairs and other devices. Please do not give them money – doing so supports child and animal abuse. Three dogs, two St. Bernards and one Chow, were recently seized by Gardai in Dublin City, Ireland. It has now been confirmed that NONE of these dogs were registered to the persons who claimed ownership and had these dogs in their possession. All dogs were taken for veterinary assessment. These Dogs needs are being supported financially by St Bernard Trust has been determined, through toxicological testing, that all three dogs had been doped with benzodiazepines to keep them drugged and docile. Benzodiazepines work by promoting gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the dog's brain, which blocks neurotransmitters that cause excitement. Diazepam use can lead to side effects in dogs, especially after long-term exposure, and abruptly stopping use of the drug can cause withdrawal symptoms. One of the dogs, the Chow – which is only 7 months old, has been found to be suffering from serious leg issues due to malnutrition as a result of being taken from his mother too soon and before being properly weaned with poor muscle development and muscle atrophy due to being confined in an environment which has severely restricted his leg movements. If you see buskers/beggars with these animals please record the date / time / location and contact the nearest Police Station. In the UK, dial 101 and provide CAD number 270720193612 to report a sighting. Please help - many dogs are still at risk of being abused. Please be Vigilant when taking videos and photographs to report to the authorities Please Sign the Petition and Share Many Thanks to all throughout the years who have highlighted these Animals plight
