About the movement

In most cities, the carriage industry has no regulations. Horses often work nine-hour days in extreme weather with limited breaks and water. Under even the best conditions, urban environments are psychologically distressing to horses and frequently result in accidents from "spooked" equines.
Outside of the United States, most major global cities, including Toronto, Paris, and London, have banned the horse-drawn carriage trade. It is time more US cities ban the cruel carriage industry.
Join the movement by starting or supporting a petition in your state or municipality to ban the horse-drawn carriage industry.
