The Air Force has plans to close down the 911th Airlift Wing and reduce the number of aircraft and personnel at the 171st Air Refueling Wing in a behind-closed-doors process they won’t substantiate. We want a formal process, accounting for cost effectiveness and strategic value to the nation.

My mother, 2 sisters, and many friends are either employed as civilians at the base, or reservists themselves. The impact that closing the 911th would have, not only on the 3000+ people directly affected, but in the community surrounding it, will be devastating.

Closing these installations will hurt our great nation and put us at security risks. Keep the installations open so our country will be safe. If the govenment needs to cut money then cut the congress's ability to receive retirement pay after only serving one term. If they want to draw a retirement pay then they need to serve at least 20 years like the rest of America has to do.
