GLSEN Greater Cincinnati's visible participation makes a difference in the lives of young people. The ban sends a devastating message to LGBT youth in Cincinnati that they are not welcome. I am a co-chair of GLSEN's Greater Cinncinnati chapter and marching in the parade last year was a personal highlight as well as a highlight for the many LGBT youth and their straight allies that marched with them.

We hope to be able to march again this year to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, Cincinnati, and safer schools for all!

Cincinnati is my home town - I am Irish American - born & raised in the Cincy area, With all my ancestors went through to gain acceptance in this country, I cannot believe real Irish Americans would refuse to stand against any organization which stands against the bullying of children. Change your color to red for embarrassment if you cannot stand against bullying in our schools, please do no wear the Green & discriminate.

It is wrong to restrict a person's activities just because of their sexual persuasion.
