One of the things we have learned is that we have powerful interests arrayed against common sense limits to cruise ship traffic in Frenchman Bay. As communities around Mt Desert Island move to ban cruise ships altogether from their harbors, we continue an uphill fight. We need a budget for education, outreach and legal fees, so we can put up our fiercest fight to defend our incredible area. This photo, from the top of one of the most visited mountains in our national park system, shows where the cruise ship industry wants to put its upward of a half mile long pier to berth its largest ships. It's just #toobigforFrenchmanBay. Please help.
