Davontae Sanford was wrongfully sent to prison and sentenced to 37 to 90 years for a 2008 quadruple homicide he did not commit. Sanford was 14 in 2007, when he gave inaccurate confessions to police and pled guilty at the advice of his attorney, who is currently suspended from practice. In 2008, two weeks after Sanford’s sentence, a professional hit-man confessed to the quadruple homicide and eight other murders, giving details including where a murder weapon was stashed.

Justice has finally arrived. Today, Judge Brian Sullivan vacated the 2008 convictions and sentences of Sanford after Sanford served 9 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.

Sanford lost his entire adolescence; He lost the opportunity to learn and graduate high school along with his peers, get involved in educational extracurriculars, and develop real-world employment skills he should have received. Your donations will be given directly to Davontae to help him rebuild his life; he needs everything from clothes to education.

This fund is administered on behalf of Davontae Sanford (proof here). Sam Kaspick is his financial advisor. The funds will go directly to Davontae Sanford.
