For the past two weeks, the Change.org staff have toiled relentlessly for 15 hour+ days -- retreating, presenting, planning, discussing, eating, drinking, karaoke-ing, standing-ovation-ing, snapping, and dancing late into the night to the Backstreet Boys. These harsh working conditions have been propagated by CEO Ben Rattray with impunity.
Ben thinks he can get away with this kind of behavior by inspiring us, giving us wonderful jobs and paying us fairly. Well, that is simply not enough.
Let's face it, there is only one way that Ben can show his staff that these weeks of toil have not been for naught: by securing all 100+ staff members tickets to his Daily Show appearance on Monday.
We have tried the appropriate channels, and asked BJW for tickets. His outraged response: "I'm giving all the tickets we got to my wife and her friends. I don't care about any of you. Back the !@#$ off."
Is this the kind of culture of nepotism Ben wants to build within Change.org?
Join us in calling for the Change.org founder to do the right thing, and do everything in his power to make this a reality.
