      Studio City, CA

As an asexual, we are part of the LGBTQ(A) community. although we make up about 1% of the population, we are proud and we should be recognized by social media websites as part of the LGBTQ(A) community.
PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE OPTIONS/RECOGNITION FOR ASEXUALS ON SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITES SUCH AS TUMBLR, FACEBOOK AND MYSPACE.

ON TUMBLR, we would like to have an "A" added to the LGBTQ(A) SPOTLIGHT COMMUNITY

ON FACEBOOK, we would like to have "NEITHER" in interested in.

ON MYSPACE, we would like to have "ASEXUAL" added to the orientation list.

there should be more people aware of asexuality, and not so much confusion. by making it part of the community, it can be explained more deeply and less confusion.

I want to see more recognition of asexuality so that social media sites more accurately reflect and celebrate the diversity of their users.

We exist. We live. We breathe. We are here, and we deserve the same rights as everyone under any flag.

while not asexual, i recognize the distinct and unique challenges these folks face. many challenges similar to those i face as a transsexual - society not educated about the facts, and even worse, discriminating based on myths.

As an asexual who goes unrecognized and forgotten even amongst progressive circles, yes please.
