Stop forcing employees to work the day BEFORE Black Friday

Each year retail workers have had to work earlier and earlier on Black Friday, sacrificing precious family time that they might not be able to enjoy any other day of the year. This year, Toys "R" Us, Walmart, ect., are opening on Thanksgiving day at 8pm. Retail workers across the country deserve to spend the holiday with their families. This is called Black Friday, not Black Thanksgiving and the people who take these jobs and work the hours and fufill their duties to these retailers should have the option, without getting fired, to spend the holidays with their families. There is a huge difference between coming into work at 8pm on the night of Thanksgiving and waking up at 5am to go into work the day of Black Friday. We request that Black Friday sales start Friday -- like it is supposed to -- not on Thanksgiving

Toys R Us sucks, and they don't care about their employees and their families one bit. If they are so "family oriented", why are they pulling mothers, fathers, and children away from their loved ones on Thanksgiving so that people can buy stuff?? The same crap that will be there next week.

You make Mom or Dad or a sister or brother work on Thanksgiving; how do they explain to their kids or siblings that they have to spend half a day selling toys? Why would anyone spend money at your store when you don't value traditional family time together?

These companies are obviously choosing commerce over the observation of one of our countries' greatest holidays. Black Friday is disgusting enough already, don't make it worse!
