Stand against Ken Cuccinelli

Stand against Ken Cuccinelli

    1. Sponsored by

      Terry McAuliffe for Governor

As attorney general, Ken Cuccinelli supported LGBT discrimination and attacked climate science. The Washington Post called him "the most overtly partisan attorney general in Virginia's history" after he used his office to threaten women's health providers. He even thinks Justice Antonin Scalia is too liberal.

Now, he wants to be your governor.

Don't let that happen. Please, sign the pledge to stop Ken Cuccinelli.

To be perfectly honest this very ignorant bigot has no business being in government at all. If that isn't enough for you I am a free woman you know those things that no longer get traded around by men as vessels for procreation. THIS ISN'T the 1700s and I refuse to let someone with this viewpoint have any say in my healthcare, my private life, or my government.

If YoU eVeR sEe ThIs, PlEaSe ReAd ThIs, Mr. Cuccinelli. Mr. Cuccinelli, I, personally, support LGBT. Although I believe that's it's your right to have any opinion on it, laws that are against LGBT rights don't just affect those who are lesbians, gay, bisexual, or transgendered. All of these people have other people who care about them and need them to be safe and happy, and in order to do that, they need good jobs, and going to college will significantly increase their chances of getting a good job, and many of these people have family members, some of whom are kids, who rely on them. Also, if we allow people to fire lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, or transgendered people purely for their sexual orientation or expell them from a college or other school purely for their sexualt orientation, homeless shelters will fill up, and jails, too, because many of them will have to resort to stealing just to get enough food and money to survive, and we can't put them in the dangers or homelessness and jail just because of their sexual orientation or just because of the person they rely on's sexual orientation. It wouldn't be fair if a kid didn't getto eat enough meals, or if a disabled person didn't get their medication, or if a little boy or girl didn't get a Christmas present this year, or if a pet had to go to the shelter and a family had to lose their pet just because someone in the family is a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgendered. All of these are reasons why we can't support professional or in-school discrimination based on sexual orientation.

Person to person, I'd like to wish you a happy birthday (if you ever see this, and if you see it in time.)

Ken Cuccinelli has proven himself to be so ultra-conservative in his policies that I refuse to believe he is representative of more than a small, very vocal and manipulative minority. His tactics have shown little to no respect for voters; his opinions of women and minority groups are from some era I haven't lived in. This man should not have even the opportunity to run for Governor...too much is at stake and Virginians, Americans deserve more.
