They are nutritionally vulnerable; scores of their children die due to malnutrition, their socioeconomic backwardness is like most of the existing Primitive Tribes and they have child mortality as high as 107 per thousand. Their language too is endangered listed among 196 Indian languages as per UNESCO. On all Human Development Index they deserve to be included in Primitive Tribe Category for greater food and nutrition accessibility and development.

The more signatures will let the state government know the importance of the issue. Since 1990s no new tribal groups have been included in Primitive Tribal Groups category. Now like Korku some are falling into a new classification of Vulnerable Primitive tribes

I believe Korku are endangered and one of the most vulnerable tribes, they have many SAM children that need to be brought out of the malnutrition level , the survival of thier children is important in order to save the tribe.
