We have a short window before the current Congress adjourns and a new group of anti-equality lawmakers takes office next year. We need the Senate to act on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" before they leave.

This is our last, best hope to repeal this discriminatory law this year. And it's not going to be easy. Republicans in the Senate, led by Sen. John McCain, are threatening to derail the entire Department of Defense bill - including critical military equipment and pay raises - just to keep this discriminatory law on the books.
