A full investigation of practices and development decisions since 1/1/11.

    1. Petition by

      Save Stockton South

As a result of recent planning decisions we believe the heritage, future and safety of Stockton South is under serious threat. Urban sprawl is destroying our green spaces and many residents are concerned that our already creaking infrastructure will struggle to cope with this level of development.

In light of this, we the undersigned have lost confidence in Stockton Borough Council and its Planning Committee and request a full investigation into its practices and development decisions since 1st January 2011.

Yarm is struggling with traffic pollution now. This will make the situation truly miserable

The traffic into Yarm is already gridlocked most days, with queues to get into Yarm starting at the Fire Station. I am finding it harder and harder to get out across the queues to get to work and I truly believe it is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs. This is a main route for children attending both the primary and secondary schools.

The decsions will lead to poad gridlock and loss of valuable green space and once built cannot be undone. I do not consider that the Planning Committee are making wise decisions and cannot undertand how they think te roads will cope.to me their traffic surveys seem flawed.
