Tell Speaker Tilley to take action on Missouri's Non-Discrimination Bill

    1. Petition by

      Mackenzie Thiessen

      Columbia, United States

Again this year Representative Webber has introduced a bill to amend MIssouri's non-discrimination laws. This bill would add Sexual Orientation to the list of groups already protected, including race, age, religion, gender, nationality, and disability. With a record number of Missouri state representatives supporting HB 1500, Speaker Tilley has still not bothered to assign the bill to a committee for consideration. Without this assignment the Non-Discrimination bill has no chance at success. Please tell Speaker Tilley you demand he allow this bill a chance, assign HB 1500 to a committee.

I recently moved from Missouri. My family still lives there. I cannot believe that Missouri is putting Rush Limbaugh's bust in the capital. This man is a conservative -- he has an agenda. He is political. He speaks down to women and the races. He is truly a bigot. Do not honor such a man. I hope you will rethink what you are doing.

Because people shouldn't be discriminated against, regardless of who they are or who they are attracted too.
