THE INTRODUCTION OF THE BEDROOM TAX AND THE ABOLITION OF COUNCIL TAX WILL TARGET VULNERABLE PEOPLE AND THOSE ALREADY LIVING ON THE POVERTY LINE. PEOPLE FACE BEING MADE HOMELESS AS THEY WILL BE FORCED TO COVER NOT ONLY BEDROOM TAX, BUT THE SHORTFALL CREATED BY THE ABOLITION OF COUNCIL TAX BENEFIT AS WELL. BENEFITS ARE DUE TO BE CAPPED AND THOSE MOST IN NEED ARE AT RISK OF LOSING THEIR HOMES AS THEY STRUGGLE TO MAKE ENDS MEET.There is space to give your reason why you are signing this petition. Have you lived in your home and raised your family there only to be forced out? How are you going to explain this to your children and your grand children who consider the home they were raised in their real " family home"? Were you made redundant and forced to rely on state benefits because you have been unable to find employment? Do you need your spare room to provide respite care for a family member- saving the government money anyway as an unpaid carer? Are you a victim of ATOS? Do you have a physical or mental disabilty that meant you were entitled to DLA, but now find you do not meet the criteria for PIP? Are you being forced to make children of a different sex share a bedroom? Do you have sons and daughters fighting for our country and being forced to pay bedroom tax to keep their room free for their homecoming? There are many, many reasons that we oppose this welfare reform....click on the link, sign the petition, and tell us why.

It seems some people are now having difficulty signing this petition....I am also being restricted on sending out updates and posting the campaign...probably because it is well over 10,300 strong and is clearly something for the Government to start worrying about. The meeting with Mark Hoban is scheduled for the 7th June....i did try to message you all but i have just been informed they can't or won't send that particular message out to you all.....anyway, I will contact the platform today and find out what the problem is....although i have a pretty good idea already....;).

Because I care about people from all walks of life, and I believe that the Tory coalition is nothing but a tyranny, systematically targeting those who struggle most already, and creating segregation through false media. At first, they just seemed cruel and greedy. Now, they have blood on their hands.

Making a choice of staying warm and eating shouldn't be a choice I have to make in 2014 England but I make the reluctant choice of paying the bedroom tax while I am cold with a empty bellie,

I feel if I do not pay then my home will be taken from me. This worry makes me ill and adds to my depression. I think it is unfair and unjust to all who are suffering because of the situation this is causing.

Because my brother who has a three bedroomed flat in B.ham where he lived with his two sons until they were grown up. He is being forced to claim housing benefit because he has been made redundant and can only claim Unemployment benfit of around £70 per week. His bedroom tax is £30 per week thus leaving him £40 a week to live on. Out of this he, has to pay electricity, gas, phone, TV licence and Water, a bus pass and food and clothes. This is an impossibility and he is terrified he will be evicted.

We are being charged £13 a week for bedroom tax, this is seriously affecting our ability to eat and keep warm. Meanwhile MPs are swindling tax payers by fiddling expenses and getting 11% payrises helping their rich banker friends and FTSE index companies to hide tax payments and general rip off the whole of britain, SHAME ON ALL MPs who are killing the population with hunger and social deprivation! SHAME ON YOU MR CAMERON SHAME ON YOU!!
